Life Science Zurich organizes “Translational Medicine in Zurich” on January 22, 2018. The event provides scientists from academia and industry with a platform to present their projects to potential collaboration partners and investors. Several ZNZ members present their research.
This first LSZ Impact event focuses on early stage projects in pharma, biotech and medtech. The pilot conference concentrates on the fields of cancer, immunology & infection, neurosciences and enabling technologies.
The program includes short pitches by researchers from the ETH, the University of Zurich and the University of Applied Sciences ZHAW as well as contributions from young start-ups and established companies that highlight early stage projects. Keynote speakers share their experiences in translational medicine and entrepreneurship. A panel discussion is planned that will focus on trends in the pharmaceutical industry. Face-to-face meetings to network and initiate contacts and projects can be scheduled beforehand.
The Life Science Zurich Business Network is an independent, non-profit association. It represents the life sciences cluster in the Zurich area and supports and stimulates networking and collaborations between industry, academia, and the public sector in the Zurich area and companies and organizations abroad.
