New projects with UCL Neuroscience 

Last October, we announced a third call for proposals together with our partners of UCL Neuroscience. The joint review panel has now approved three new projects for 2026 laying the groundwork for deeper collaboration between the two partners. 

The following projects will be carried out in 2026: 

  • Multsensory Mapping Across Brain Regions, Labs and Techniques 
    Philip Coen and Shuting Han 
  • Enhancing Pediatric Epilepsy Research Through Collaboration Between Two Large Tertiary Centers: Implementation and Validation of MELD Tools and Development of Specific Patient Cohorts 
    Sophie Adler, Konrad Wagstyl and Georgia Ramantani 
  • Neural Extracellular Vesicles as Minimally Invasive Biomarkers for Pediatric Movement Disorders: A UCL–ZNZ Collaborative Pilot Study 
    Manju Kurian, Lucia Abela and Bettina Balint
