Psilocybin, the psychedelic drug isolated from mushrooms, had a bad reputation for a long time. Psychiatrist Franz Vollenweider investigates if this substance can be used therapeutically. In this video he talks about a paradigm shift in depression treatment, also in connection with mindfulness meditation.

Franz Vollenweider is Professor at the University Hospital Zurich. He founded and heads the Heffter Research Institute, where he is investigating the effect and therapeutic potential of hallucinogens.
