In his farewell lecture “The long way from bench to bedside for a regeneration enhancing therapy for spinal cord injury” Prof. Martin Schwab reviewed his scientific journey from the idea of neurite growth inhibition, via discovery of the inhibitory molecule to bedside therapy to enhance regeneration for spinal cord injury.
Prof. Schwab retired from the ETH Zurich. He will continue his research work at the Institute for Regenerative Medicine (IREM), University of Zurich and with UZH spin-off NovaGo Therapeutics AG.
