We are looking for candidates for the ZNZ best PhD thesis Award 2014. All ZNZ group leaders are invited to submit successfully completed recent theses. The ZNZ steering committee will reviews the proposals and select the best candidate for the Award that will be presented at the ZNZ Annual Symposium on 11 September 2014. The awardee is invited to present his/her work in a short talk. The Award is accompanied by a prize of CHF 1000 and a certificate.
Candidates for the Award are nominated by their supervisor, a ZNZ member. Eligible for the Award are PhD theses that were completed between 1 August 2013 and 31 July 2014.
Submit your proposals to Wolfgang Knecht (wknecht@neuroscience.uzh.ch) until 8 August 2014. Submissions should contain a cover letter of up to two pages describing the original contribution, the importance of the PhD work and why you nominate it, as well as an electronic copy of the PhD thesis
